Sourcing

Every factual claim in a The Dispatch story is checked against at least one primary source — a public record, an on-the-record interview, or original documentation — before publication.

Corrections

When we get something wrong, we fix it and note the correction at the bottom of the story with the date it was made. Material corrections are logged on our corrections page.

Independence

Editorial coverage is never influenced by advertisers, sponsors, or subjects of our reporting. Sponsored content, if published, is clearly labeled as such.
